Beautiful Architecture and Great Location

The building features beautiful mosaics and details everywhere. It feels like a fairytale. The rooftop is great for enjoying the sun. The location is right at the beginning of the Medina, so it was easy to find.
Our standard room felt small and very dark. It was too dark to see some things clearly. Maintenance also seemed to be an issue.

The riad has a lovely downstairs pool. There is a restaurant and bar on site. The rooftop includes a gorgeous pool for dipping and bathing. It has a plant filled roof terrace.

Breakfast was quite traditional. It was nice to try so many local items. There were also many choices for vegetarians. It was a treat to experience local cuisine.

The architecture of the hotel is special. I appreciated its restoration and preservation using traditional methods. i enjoyed their playful interactions and constant smiles. the restaurant was perfect, i ate every meal there and loved the shaded poolside lunches. they also provided a very comfortable crib.
during my visit i found that i could not bring my own water bottles into the hotel, a rule i found inconvenient.

the airport pickup was efficient. it made the start of my holiday very easy. my room had a beautiful view over the courtyard and was cool because of air conditioning. the rooftop pool was ideal after a hot day. the breakfast offered set me up well for the day. staff were friendly and helpful with anything i needed.
i ordered chicken pie once. i was given seafood pie instead. i have an allergy. the apology felt casual given the serious error.
